Who operates Project Orion

Project Orion is a product and trade name operated by Rocket Supply Co Inc, a California corporation.

Information we collect

When you join the early access list, we collect the email address you provide. We also keep the signup source, the notice version shown at signup, subscription status, and the dates needed to manage your request.

If welcome email delivery is enabled, we may keep limited delivery status and provider reference information. We do not keep a second copy of your email in the delivery record.

If you receive private beta access, we may collect your account email, organization membership, security and authentication state, planning settings, support messages, and limited audit information needed to operate and protect the service.

When you authorize an Amazon connection, Project Orion is designed to receive only the approved nonrestricted order, listing, inventory, product, SKU, quantity, sales, and timing information needed for forecasting and inventory planning. The initial beta does not request buyer names, buyer contact details, addresses, payment data, or other restricted information.

Our hosting and security providers may process basic request information needed to deliver and protect the website and service. We do not intentionally use browser fingerprints or advertising identifiers.

How we use information

We use information to confirm your request, manage early access, provide and support approved private beta access, connect authorized data sources, produce forecasts and planning views, review product mappings, prepare recommendations, respond to privacy requests, prevent misuse, and maintain security and reliability.

We use Amazon information only for the planning functions and support included in the approved customer scope. We do not use it to contact buyers or for advertising.

We do not sell personal information or customer planning data. We do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising.

Connected services and your choices

A connected account is authorized by you through the connected service. Project Orion does not ask you to place an Amazon password or access token in the browser.

You may decline a connection or ask us to disconnect it. Disconnecting stops future collection through Project Orion, but you may also need to revoke Project Orion within the connected service to end provider authorization completely.

Service providers

We work with carefully selected service providers that help us host the website and application, store approved information, operate databases and infrastructure, deliver approved messages, protect the service, and respond to privacy requests. A connected service such as Amazon also processes information under your relationship with that service.

Providers may process information only as needed to provide their services and under applicable agreements and privacy obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction with appropriate safeguards.

Cookies and tracking

The public website does not intentionally use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioral analytics. Email open and link tracking are disabled for the welcome message.

The private beta may use secure cookies that are necessary for sign in, account security, and session continuity. These cookies are not used for advertising.

How long we keep information

We keep waitlist information only as long as needed to operate the early access program, honor your choices, resolve security or delivery issues, and meet applicable legal obligations. We review the information and remove it when it is no longer needed.

Approved Amazon source records are kept for no more than 18 months and may be removed sooner based on the customer plan, planning purpose, provider requirement, law, disconnect, or verified deletion request.

Account, planning, derived, audit, support, and security information is kept only as long as needed to provide and protect the service, maintain required records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Connection credentials are protected and kept only while needed to maintain an authorized connection, then deleted under the applicable disconnect or deletion process.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete information associated with you. You may unsubscribe from updates, decline or disconnect a connected service, and ask questions about retention. Send your request to privacy@projectorion.io.

We may need to verify your identity and authority before we disclose, change, disconnect, or delete information. Some information may be retained when required for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or another lawful reason, and we will explain any applicable limit when required.

Security

We use access restrictions, tenant boundaries, encrypted connections, protected credentials, limited service permissions, authentication controls, and operational reviews intended to protect information. No method of storage or transmission can guarantee complete security.

Children

Project Orion is a business planning service and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children through the early access list.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the early access program changes. We will post the revised notice here and update the effective date when a change becomes effective.
